Dr Ruth Murray-Webster is an experienced consultant and practitioner in the areas of organisational change and risk management, applied to a wide range of sectors with a particular focus on large-scale projects and programmes in the built environment, utilities, mining and digital transformation. The synergies between change and risk and their impact on strategy and innovation drive Ruth’s thinking, writing and practice.

Ruth has more than 35 years of experience in a series of roles to enable organisations in most sectors to deliver change objectives including appointments as Director, Change Portfolio and Group Head of Risk for a major port operator and Director, Risk in the Boardroom practice for KPMG LLP. She is an Associate Fellow at the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School where she is an experienced programme director and learning facilitator working on the Major Projects Leadership Academies for the UK and other governments around the world.

Ruth is an independent member on the UK Government Home Office Audit, Risk and Assurance Committee.  She is a published author and co-author with more than 10 titles spanning 20 years
